Alexander Freeman is an international award-winning filmmaker and a graduate of Emerson College currently living in Boston, Massachusetts. Alexander, who was born with cerebral palsy, has been featured on WBUR, My Sex Professor, ABC NEWS, mtvU and Nerve Magazine. Alexander is also the Winner of the HSC Foundation’s National 2014 Advocates in Disability Award. Alexander has interned as assistant editor for award-winning documentary filmmaker Robbie Leppzer at Turning Tide Productions and has interned at Technicolor. He has also interned for Emmy and Academy award-winning documentary editor Jeff Consiglio at VFR Films. Alexander is the Founder and CEO of OUTCAST PRODUCTIONS, which is devoted to telling thought-provoking stories on disability, sexuality, identity and diversity that encourage social action.

With a personality as colorful as her shoe collection, Anne has been a filmmaker since she was in high school. She attended the prestigious NYU Tisch Summer Filmmakers workshop where she wrote and directed a short film entitled, Baby Mine. Anne is a graduate of Emerson College where she studied Film Production with a concentration producing.
Eugene J. Doran, Jr.
Gene is the living embodiment of perseverance. He served our country in Vietnam unscathed and survived a freak accident 25 years ago that left him a high quadriplegic on life support. Despite his tribulations, Gene has a love of life that is contagious to everyone he meets. He has raised three beautiful children and is now the proud grandfather to five grandchildren. His philanthropic endeavors continue his life of altruism as he is a huge supporter of the Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence as well as the Lawrence General Hospital, an organization which he credits saving his life twice. Gene is an inspiration to us all, from his heroic past to his humanitarian present.

With roots in Minnesota, Andrew’s passion for film was born in part while working on an instructional video for the Cinematography Merit Badge in Boy Scouts; he is also an Eagle Scout. Since a young teenager, Andrew has been creating numerous short movies, notably a video documentary about wind energy that won an award in the national C-SPAN StudentCam competition. Andrew is a graduate of Emerson College, where he studied Film Production with a minor in Business Studies.

Currently pursuing a BS in marketing communications and a minor in American Sign Language at Emerson College, this is Gabriella’s first foray into producing. Coming from the world of marketing, she is president of Emerson’s student run marketing firm, EMcomm. In addition, Gabriella loves hip/hop, writing, and and cooking.

Ryan Egan is an editor and graduate of Emerson College. Her latest projects include The Last Taboo and Re-enter:My New Community, a documentary that examines how the Haley House Cafe re-entry program helps citizens recently released from incarceration make a fresh start in their community. Ryan is a travel enthusiast and film geek currently based In Los Angeles, CA. She is looking to make a career in documentary and television.
Miro Kepinski: Composer
Graduating from a Classical Music school in Mlawa, Poland as Musician Instrumentalist (Classical Guitar), Miro then expanded his musical knowledge by enrolling at the Jazz faculty of the Academy of Music in Katowice, Poland. Upon graduation, Miro was awarded the title Musician the Artist in recognition of his studies and has gone on to enjoy a career playing a broad palette of musical styles including rock, blues and metal. Miro’s collaborative work includes playing guitar with bands Carnal, Self-pollution and co-founded an art-rock group by the name of Yahatra. In 2007, after working on new material for Yahatra, Miro founded an experimental project called MEYATRA. This new project showcases work of his own composition and improvisation, which are based on a strong rhythm section with guitar leading other instruments in a layered sound. At the beginning of 2009 Miro recorded an album for Meyatra titled ‘the Singular Sound of the Brain’. The album was produced by KRAMER. At the end of 2008 Miro founded a solo project called PRIMALISM – when a silence becomes the noise. This new music combines ‘an american minimalism with looped based ambient structures.’ His work as solo or collaborative artist- has been well received by both print and online reviews.
